On March 17, 2009, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). I was 17 years old. While in the hospital receiving chemotherapy, one of my doctors referred to the medicine as “Beautiful Poison” because of the way that it rids the body of cancer while also destroying many things that the body needs to function properly. I received several rounds of intense chemotherapy over the next few months. On August 28, 2009, I received a bone marrow transplant that saved my life. Fortunately, my brother was a bone marrow match and was more than willing to be my donor. I am now completely cancer free. Almost everybody knows someone who has been affected by cancer. That is why 10% of my profits will be used to help find a cure and to help treat cancer patients. Thanks for your support.
